These roles will report to the maintenance manager and are ** DAY SHIFT**, Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm. It is a 40-hour week with 2 hours paid at overtime rates to ensure a 38-hour standard week. Nearly every Saturday is overtime and **OVERTIME** is paid at **“DOUBLE-TIME”** for **ALL HOURS**. These roles provide a great lifestyle balance with family and outside personal interests. **To be considered for these roles, applicants must satisfy the following key selection criteria**: - Possess formal Trade Qualifications as a Mechanical Fitter or an equivalent - Have at least 2 years Food Industry Experience, ideally working with equipment such as Ribbon Blenders, Mixing Vessels, Bag Filling Machines, Palletisers, Vacuum Handling Systems, Pumps, Motors, Drives, Hydraulics etc. - Additional Tickets such as an S Permit, Forklift, Dogging/Rigging, 1st Aid, Confined Space, TIG/MIG Welding etc. would be a substantial benefit - but not critical - Experience with Basic PLC Fault Finding is Expected along with strong Pneumatics and hydraulics skills - Strong working knowledge of HACCP and GMP is expected **Key Personal Attributes being Sought**: - Courteous and conscientious, flexible, responsive and willing to support the needs of the business - Reliable, dependable and punctual - Humble, honest and hardworking - Passionate about getting things done “Right First Time” - Have the ability to mentor others and also influence thinking about how things are done and to drive a change to a more preventative mindset rather than reactive **$120,000 p.a.** **PLUS** Superannuation. These roles commence as **CASUAL** and for those who have their own proper company structure **NOT** Sole Traders or ABN Holders), sub-contracting arrangements can be supported. **NOTE**: Successful applicants will be required to undergo drug and alcohol screening and a pre-employment medical and MUST supply a copy of their own Police Clearance Certificate (Valid within 6 months).
