**The Company**:
Maintenance Fitter required to join our client, who are a large food and beverage contract manufacturing company located in Clayton. They develop and manufacture high quality liquid and powdered products from sports nutrition, drinking chocolate, soft serves to baking products. This is a good opportunity to join an organisation, who are committed to providing a safe and supportive working environment for all team members.

**The position requirements include but are not limited to**:

- Preventive and breakdown maintenance & repairs
- Mechanical fault finding, machine adjustments and fabrication tasks
- Capital project works
- Continuous improvement tasks
- Strictly following all required safety and security procedures

**To be considered for this role you should possess the following**:

- A Mechanical trade qualification essential
- Proven experience in an FMCG or similar industrial manufacturing environment
- An understanding of GMP and 5S principles
- A team player with a positive, self motivated and proactive attitude is essential
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal with a high attention to details
- Flexibility to work extra hours and perform ad hoc duties as required

**Hours & Rates**

Afternoon shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm (Monday - Friday), $52p/h + overtime + super

Training will be provided on day shift hours: 10:00am - 6:00pm (3 months)
