**The Company**:
Maintenance Fitter required to join our client, who are a large food and beverage contract manufacturing company located in Clayton. They develop and manufacture high quality liquid and powdered products from sports nutrition, drinking chocolate, soft serves to baking products. **The position requirements include but are not limited to**:

- Preventive and breakdown maintenance & repairs
- Mechanical fault finding, machine adjustments and fabrication tasks
- Capital project works
- Continuous improvement tasks
- Strictly following all required safety and security procedures

**To be considered for this role you should possess the following**:

- A Mechanical trade qualification essential
- Proven experience in an FMCG or similar industrial manufacturing environment
- An understanding of GMP and 5S principles
- A team player with a positive, self motivated and proactive attitude is essential
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal with a high attention to details
- Flexibility to work extra hours and perform ad hoc duties as required

**Hours & Rates**

Afternoon shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm (Monday - Friday), $52p/h + overtime + super

Training will be provided on day shift hours: 10:00am - 6:00pm (3 months)
