**Food and Beverage Operations Coordinator**

VenuesLive proudly manages Accor Stadium and CommBank Stadium including as exclusive catering services provider. VenuesLive also provides catering services to suburban stadiums, sporting venues and at various other special events.
VenuesLive is looking for an Operations Coordinator to join our food and beverage team working across Accor Stadium and CommBank Stadium. Reporting to the Senior Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient planning and operations of the catering activities. We are looking for someone who is a team player and has a positive attitude.

The key responsibilities of the position are:

- Coordinate the set-up of function rooms, suites, and cash bars across Accor Stadium and CommBank Stadium for event days and meetings and special events
- Submit the beverage, dry goods, and linen requisitions and effectively manage stock to ensure mínimal wastage
- Develop the casual set up deployment plans
- Coordinate with other departments as required for assistance with the set-up of the function rooms such as operable wall movements, technology, power requirements, kitchen operations and equipment requisitions
- Complete pre-event quality checks for each event day
- Assist with the training, development, and coaching of casual employees
- Undertake an event day operational role as required

The key skills and attributes required are:

- Experience in a similar food and beverage or hospitality role essential
- Responsible service of alcohol essential
- Excellent communication skills essential
- Diploma or Degree qualifications in event management or hospitality preferred
- Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

In addition to the above criteria, attention to detail, enthusiasm, an eagerness to learn, ability to work as part of a team, high levels of energy, willingness to work flexible hours in line with the requirements of Accor Stadium and CommBank Stadium’s event schedules (which includes weekend work) and a positive ‘can do’ attitude, is what is required to successfully undertake this position.
