**What You'll Do**:
As our WHS Advisor, you’ll report directly to the National WHS Manager and be at the forefront of evaluating and enhancing our work environment.

Your mission? Ensure compliance with safety regulations that not only meet but exceed industry standards

**Key Responsibilities**:

- _Lead the Charge:_ Maintain and develop our WHS management system to guarantee a safe workplace and full legislative compliance.
- Educate and Empower: Create and implement safety policies and training programs that inspire safe work practices among managers, supervisors, and staff.
- _Continuous Improvement:_ Drive health and safety initiatives, conducting safety audits and risk assessments to identify areas for enhancement.
- _Data Mastery:_ Ensure accurate & timely management of safety data, supporting our commitment to transparency & effective communication, including FAIs, LTIs, MTIs & TRIFR data.
- _Champion Recovery:_ Manage return-to-work programs that prioritise employee well-being and a swift return to productivity.
- _Be a Guiding Light:_ Provide expert advice and support in our WHS space, fostering a culture of safety and compliance.

**What You Bring**:

- Experience: Minimum 5 years in a WHS generalist role, ideally within the transport sector, with proven experience in safety audits, risk assessments, and compliance.
- Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Work Health & Safety, WorkCover accreditation as a Return-to-Work Coordinator, and Safety Auditor accreditation.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, including conflict resolution, to effectively engage with all levels of the organization.
