Swart and Sons are a multifaceted industrial services company based in Adelaide. Our heritage division urgently requires a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team.

Your duties will include:

- Perform maintenance and repair activities
- Utilise maintenance worksheets to accurately record job progress
- Identify and act on opportunities for improvement
- Maintain a clean & tidy work area free of FOD
- Take all reasonable steps to ensure own safety and the safety of others
- Actively participate as a team member to achieve team goals
- Experience handling and working with high pressure vessels is preferred;
- Ability to trouble shoot diagnostic repairs
- Maintenance of minor and major repairs of all mechanical equipment used for water seepage control and coating equipment
- Creating a suitable maintenance schedule and performing maintenance accordingly
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high level of accuracy and the ability to read and understand technical data;
- The ability to maintain documentation of work in progress and to follow written procedures;
- Capable of working independently with a continuous improvement approach;
- Ability to use Information Technology packages such as Microsoft Office and maintenance/production software;
- Dangerous goods and/or extinguishing agent handling Licence (EAHL) would be an advantage;

**Salary**: Between $70,000 and $75,000 per annum + Super

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
