GDP Group is a multi-divisional operator, offering a diverse range of facilities management solutions. With specialties in commercial high rise buildings and building access, the range of GDP’s services include service and maintenance to Building Maintenance Units (BMU’s), high rise window cleaning, height safety services, Construction services, industrial upgrades, remedial building repairs and general electrical services.

Position

GDP Group has an opportunity to offer a qualified and experienced Mechanical Engineering Technician a chance to join their team.

Reporting to the BMU Manager, the primary purpose of this hands-on role will be to provide both technical and hands on support to the Building Maintenance Unit and Height Safety service and maintenance team, whilst also providing assistance to all other divisions within the company.

You will be required to work outside of standard hours which may include some weekends and you may be on-call for emergency repairs.

Required Competencies
- Relevant post-secondary qualifications desirable
- Relevant work experience would be highly regarded
- Physically fit and able to work at heights on high rise buildings
- Availability to work outside of standard hours, including week-ends
- Well-presented and groomed
- Will have a clean police record
- Be reliable and flexible
- Demonstrate a good level of communication both verbal and written

**Benefits**:
Salary

Salary range between $60,000 and $70,000 plus superannuation, depending on relevant qualifications and experience.

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
