australia melbourne permanent great team & company benefits on offer- Opportunity to join this leading University as a Salesforce Systems Administrator providing analysis, design, development, implementation and support functions for their Salesforce instance and integration points.- This role coordinates with Operations teams and Release Management functions to deliver releases through the SDLC into production, as well as ensuring all production and non-production environments are appropriately patched and functioning to expectations.**Key activities**
- Coordinate and execute deployments on the University’s Salesforce platform to ensure efficient delivery
- Participate in implementations and upgrades
- Coordinate and lead maintenance, upgrades, patching and configuration
- Contribute to design, implementation and further adoption of CI/CD
- Ensure availability and performance of production and non-production environments
- Identify problem areas and implement solutions to ensure minimum impact to business and IT stakeholders
- Provide specialist technical advice in analysis, design, implementation and support on Salesforce to Project Managers, Business & Functional Analysts and other functions on projects and operational work as required
- Perform analysis and provide a range of technical services to support day to day operations

**Skills and experience**
- Demonstrated experience with Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud in a similar role managing platform health and performance
- Solid understanding of operations observability principles
- Experience working in an Agile/DevOps culture
- Previous cloud deployment and management experience (especially AWS)
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; proven ability to write quality technical documentation
- Substantial experience in debugging or troubleshooting complex problems while providing effective progress communications and fault escalation procedures
- Ability to successfully participate as a productive team member, mentor, and work autonomously as required
- Understanding of CI/CD practices and tools (e.g. Jenkins, AWS CodePipelines) highly regarded
