The Corporate Affairs Advisor will provide strategic superannuation support to the Senior Corporate Affairs Manager. This will include research on industry trends and regulations, developing informed strategies and liaising with key stakeholders including government entities (state and federal), media, key civil societies (e.g. Unions and peak bodies for housing) and superannuation peak bodies.

This role will involve monitoring of legislative changes and collaboration with internal teams to align superannuation initiatives with HESTA's broader Corporate Affairs objectives. They will also require a proactive approach to anticipate and support in responding to potential challenges for the Fund from a Government and External relations perspective, assist in the development and innovation in setting advocacy strategies and support in communicating effectively across different areas of the business that ultimately contributes to the benefit of our members.

**This is a parental leave replacement position and will be offered on a 8 month maximum term basis.**

**About You**

We are looking for someone with experience in a similar role focused on policy and regulatory issues, preferably in Superannuation. In addition, you will have experience writing and contributing to government submissions, communicating policy issues, exceptional project management skills and demonstrated experience balancing priorities to meet multiple deadlines.

**What's in it for you?**

We will leave all the 'work you'll be doing' stuff in the PD but here's a few things that you'll get to enjoy working at HESTA:
**Your leave and time off matters, **up to 6 days paid volunteer leave, up to an additional 5 days of leave over the end of year and new year period, access your LSL after 3 years Take AL at half pay, and purchase up to 2 weeks additional leave

**Your professional development matters, **up to $5k per year professional development and up to 8 days professional development leave, HESTA scholarships and free access to a range of premium learning tools

**Your health and wellbeing matters,** free annual flu shots and skin checks, incredible social events throughout the year and a comprehensive employee assistance program available 24/7

**Your financial wellbeing matters, **15% super, financial planning support, end of year payment for all Enterprise Agreement-covered employees, incentivised Employee Referral Program and novated lease options

HESTA is a great place to work but don't take our word for it, we were named (again) Employer of Choice for Gender Equality 2022.

Please note: Applications via recruitment agencies will not be accepted for this position.
