About the role*
We are looking for a bright, dynamic and ‘keen to learn’ team member to join our busy Purchasing team. The Purchasing team is responsible for services support for Buildsafe’s 14 branches and offices throughout Australia.
The role for the successful applicant, includes, but is not limited to:

- Raising purchase orders following Buildsafe procurement principles
- Maintaining the purchase order approvals and receipting to ensure that orders are effectively moved through the procurement process, and to assist with end of month reporting activities where required
- Following up back orders and overdue purchase orders
- Administering fleet fines for approval and payment as required
- Administering records for current supplier details, pricing, technical information and contracts in preparation for audit
- Assisting the Purchasing Officer and the Facilities & Insurance Coordinator as required
- Special projects, as required; and
- Other purchasing department administrative duties as requested by the Purchasing department team lead.

Full training and department support will be provided to set you up to succeed in your role. Experience in using financial reporting software and Excel skills would be highly regarded but not essential.
