**What’s the role?**

We're looking for an Associate Director to lead the SWIFT product within our International Payments team. You’ll play a key role in shaping the future of international payments at Westpac by owning the SWIFT product strategy, driving performance, and supporting major initiatives like ISO 20022 migration.

This role involves the management of the SWIFT relationship for the Group, product development of SWIFT product for clients, and change delivery - ideal for someone who can balance customer focus, commercial goals and technical understanding.

You’ll manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, work closely with internal teams and scheme providers like SWIFT, and deliver insights and innovations that enhance the experience for our institutional and corporate clients.

This is a Permanent full-time role based in Sydney with flexible working arrangements.

**What do I need?**
- Product management experience ideally in payments or financial services
- Familiarity with SWIFT, ISO 20022, and international payment
- Strong data and insight capability - able to build a fact base and drive decisions
- Strategic thinking with a knack for solving client pain points
- Experience coordinating external relationships, especially with scheme providers
- A confident, structured communicator across technical, risk and business stakeholders
- A mix of commercial judgement, delivery mindset and curiosity about emerging trends
