On behalf of one of Australia's leading e-Commerce companies, we are looking for a highly skilled governance and compliance professional to drive and support the ongoing regulatory change agenda.

In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in driving compliance assurance and transformation initiatives. As the successful applicant, you will oversee the delivery of various projects, while providing insightful reporting to the Executive Leadership and Board members.

The Compliance & Process Optimisation Function is a centralised capability that ensures the performance and scalability of processes and systems, which are crucial for meeting regulatory obligations. Responsibilities encompass areas such as AML, consumer protection, marketing, advertising, CRM, privacy, and licensing.

As a key team member, you will be responsible for the following:

- Collaborating with other Heads Of to develop and execute assurance agendas on a rolling monthly schedule.
- Overseeing the successful delivery of AML transformation initiatives within designated timelines and scope.
- Preparing high-level AML and compliance portfolio reports for the Board.
- Serving as a central point of contact for regulatory changes, working closely with other departments to assess impacts, design solutions, and implement necessary changes.

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:

- Demonstrated experience in a complex, regulatory, and/or professional services environment.
- Sound operational understanding of the regulatory compliance
- Proven ability to generate high-quality insights and reports for senior management and the Board.
- Strong skills in establishing and operationalizing forums to facilitate stakeholder collaboration and monitor strategic outcomes.
- Track record of effectively tracking and overseeing multiple initiatives, comprehending processes, identifying barriers, assessing risks, and addressing issues.
- Excellent presentation skills, capable of delivering impactful information to the C-Suite.
