Brighton's most exciting new venue is evolving on Level 3 of Novotel Brighton Beach. We are excited to bring you on our journey, launching an expansive venue including multiple bars, food offerings, beach club and cabanas overlooking beautiful Brighton Beach.
Novotel Sydney Brighton Beach is a premium 4.5-star resort style hotel overlooking the beautiful, white sandy beaches of Brighton-Le-Sands and Sydney's picturesque Botany Bay. The hotel is currently undergoing an extensive refurbishment and on track to be one of the best food & beverage, accommodation & event venues in NSW.
**About the Role**:
Create memorable moments and amazing experiences for our guests as a Casual Food and Beverage Attendant or Supervisor in our brand new venue You will be part of the team driving the success of a multi-faceted venue including 5 separate bars. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests across all food and beverage areas. This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced food and beverage attendants and individuals interested in starting their career in the hospitality industry. We provide full training and pathways for career progression for those who demonstrate dedication and commitment to their role.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Greeting and seating customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Presenting menus and providing recommendations to guests
- Taking orders and serving food and beverages promptly and accurately
- Anticipating customer needs and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their experience
- Handling inquiries, concerns, and special requests
- Processing payments and operating the POS system effectively
- Collaborating with team members to maintain a smooth flow of service
**About You**:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong customer service skills with a warm and approachable demeanour
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) is essential
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

Pay: $30.13 - $38.70 per hour
Expected hours: 12 - 38 per week
