**Novotel Sydney Brighton Beach** is a premium 4.5-star resort style hotel overlooking the beautiful, white sandy beaches of Brighton-Le-Sands and Sydney's picturesque Botany Bay. The hotel is currently undergoing an extensive refurbishment and on track to be one of the best food & beverage, accommodation & event venues in NSW.

**About the Role**:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate **Barista**to join our Food & Beverage team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee and beverages during our busy breakfast service, helping set the tone for an exceptional start to our guests’ day. You’ll work closely with our breakfast buffet team to ensure prompt, friendly service while maintaining the highest standards of presentation and consistency.
- Shifts run from 6:30am to 10:30am. Early morning and weekend availability is essential._

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve consistently high-quality coffee and other beverages to guests during breakfast service
- Set up, operate, and maintain coffee machines and related equipment
- Support the breakfast team by assisting with basic food service and table clearing when required
- Ensure the coffee station is clean, stocked, and organised at all times
- Greet guests warmly, take beverage orders, and deliver them promptly
- Assist with dietary requests and ensure guest satisfaction
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards to maintain a safe working environment

**About You**:

- Previous barista experience in a hotel, café, or restaurant environment is essential
- Ability to produce high-quality coffee quickly and efficiently during peak periods
- Warm, engaging customer service skills with excellent communication abilities
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with early morning starts
- RSA certification is required (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
- A proactive team player who’s willing to assist with other aspects of breakfast service when needed
