**Create your best future and join Westpac as a Head of AI Strategy, Partnership, Education & Adoption** **What’s the role?** As part of the Data, Digital & AI Division, this role leads Westpac’s enterprise AI agenda—driving strategy, partnerships, platforms, products, education, and adoption. It embeds “AI for Everyone” across the Group and oversees delivery enablement across UNITE programs. **Key focus areas -** - **AI Strategy**:Drives Westpac’s enterprise AI strategy aligned with Group priorities and regulations, shaping investments across platforms, partnerships, and workforce capabilities, while embedding Responsible AI into decisions, design, and outcomes. - **AI Partnership**:Leads strategic partnerships with global AI experts, regulators, researchers, and tech innovators to drive innovation, reduce costs, and deliver impact—positioning Westpac as a trusted, resilient player in the AI ecosystem. - **AI Products**:Oversees rollout of key AI products like Intelligent Document Processing and Conversational AI to streamline operations, reduce risk, and enhance experiences. Drives adoption of scalable, compliant solutions that improve efficiency and support growth. - **AI Education**:Delivers an AI fluency program tailored to all employee levels, building confidence in responsible AI use and fostering a culture of learning, experimentation, and innovation across the organisation. - **Ai for Everyone**:Embeds “AI for Everyone” as a cultural and operational shift by integrating AI into planning and daily work, while measuring impact through improved customer outcomes, streamlined processes, and reduced service costs. **What do I need?** - Extensive expertise in AI strategy, platforms, and products including LLMs, intelligent agents, IDP, and conversational AI. - Demonstrated success in leading enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives. - Strong understanding of regulatory, risk, and compliance frameworks (e.g., APRA, ASIC, global AI standards). - Advanced stakeholder engagement and partnership negotiation capabilities. - Proven ability to foster inclusive cultural change and deliver large-scale workforce education programs. - Strategic commercial insight to align AI initiatives with financial, customer, and risk outcomes. **Why join us?** We’re obsessed with becoming our customers #1 banking partner for life and we’re looking for people who are passionate about helping us achieve that goal.
