We are seeking an exceptional Clinical leader to support the establishment and success of Summerset Australia's clinical service delivery. This role can be based at our developing village in Cranbourne North or at our Head Office on St Kilda Road with travel to site enabled by the company pool car. **About the role** The key focus of this senior clinical leadership role is to support clinical service delivery for all residents receiving Summerset care services within the village, ensuring high quality care underpinned by well embedded clinical care and quality systems. You will be advising, guiding and supporting Village team leaders and managers to be successful in their role. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer - Australia (initially) as the Clinical lead you will have a strong focus on establishing compliant clinical frameworks, leading the resident-centred model of care, supporting resident safety and clinical outcomes. Key responsibilities of this role include: - Develop, implement and maintain a Summerset Australia Clinical Quality Framework - Lead the person-centred model of care across Australian to drive a positive experience of care and clinical outcomes for resident’s that align with their goals of care - Drive the implementation of clinical and quality systems to enable a high standard of resident care, delivered by skilled and competent staff - Review and develop Summerset Australia clinical policies and procedures, communicate changes and implementation requirements - Support Villages to successfully implement the quality framework and to be “audit ready” everyday - Ensure the Care Centre (RAC) teams are supported and prepared for external audits with the aim of attaining and then exceeding certification requirement - Monitor and analyse nationally benchmarked clinical data and clinical reports for Australian villages to identify trends and risks and ensure improvement plans are developed, implemented and monitored - Drive a continuous improvement approach to review of high-risk events and ensure learnings are shared with village teams and GM Clinical Services where international learnings apply **Qualifications** About you** Your people skills and methodical problem solving approach will be your biggest strength as well as your ability to support and empower frontline teams to be successful in their roles. To be considered suitable for this role you will possess the following: - Tertiary qualification in Nursing, Public Health, Primary Health Care or similar - Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA - A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior management role within the Aged Care sector with a successful and proven track record - Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Act legislation, Strengthened Standards, community care services and government accreditation criteria for aged care - Demonstrated quality, compliance and clinical governance experience using a teambuilding approach through mentoring and staff development It is an exciting time to join the Summerset team as we grow our Australian portfolio **Additional Information** Why Summerset?** For a passionate leader this will be the exciting challenge you crave.
