**About Role**:
The purpose of the role is to assist the implementation, monitoring and support of clinical & quality management systems, primarily across Baptcare aged care facilities in the Gippsland region and involvement with the wider services and operations of Baptcare aged care services.

The Clinical & Quality Systems Coordinator will assist aged care services managers and staff in achieving and maintaining legislative compliance, and effective and safe clinical care and quality excellence.

Key Duties

Assist in the review and implementation of audit tools and systems to align with clinical best practice and Baptcare policies and procedures.

Undertake clinical audits as part of the internal auditing and review at sites with the quality team members and evaluate and report findings.

Support and partner with staff in the ongoing development of a mature quality and continuous improvement management system.

Actively support and encourage excellent client experience through continuous improvement methodology.

Provide advice and training as required in the use of clinical and quality systems.

Assist in reviews of sentinel and adverse clinical incidents and incident investigation and analysis.

Encourage and support staff to identify and participate in all aspects of continuous improvement.

Participation in broader quality responsibilities across Baptcare Services & Operations as required and within scope and skill set. Assist quality team with specific projects, committee membership, and analysis and investigations.

This role will be mobile across Baptcare sites in Victoria, requiring some travel. As required, the role will be based at frontline services (eg when sanctions or non-compliance occurs) in order to assist a service return to full compliance.

About You

Health Professional Degree, e.g. Registered Nurse Division 1

Graduate Diploma in Quality Management or Aged Care Operational Management (desirable)

Registered Quality Assessor (desirable)

Current Victorian Driver’s License

Current AHPRA Registration

The willingness and ability to travel and work in an agile and flexible manner within the organization
