**The role**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our South Melbourne team for an experienced and tenacious Account Manager This role will see you maintaining key accounts as well as generating new business within the B2B space, across VIC. You’ll have a direct client patch, as well as manage Boutique and Independent Tier 1 Agencies, and sell the breadth of media asset offerings (road, rail, retail, airport, office etc - covering digital and classic print campaigns - billboards, bus shelters, digital screens etc)
You’ll jump into a very warm seat with an existing client base who we have long-standing relationships with, and is a fantastic opportunity to work with reputable, established clients who engage with the biggest brands in Australia As the key Account Manager, you’ll provide seamless client services, generating sales growth and retaining and improving pre-existing relationships. This would suit someone from a media background who thrives on building and maintaining strong partnerships You will also:
- Prospect, maintain and grow revenue-generating relationships with key Tier 1 media agencies
- Up-sell and cross-sell on key accounts to develop new business avenues and manage the after sales process
- Drive market activity via a consistent and effective engagement plan
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and teams to effectively position our products and solutions in market
- Participate in external events and social engagements to build relationships with clients and boost our branding efforts
Working in a hybrid capacity, you’ll be based in our brand new South Melbourne offices (including 5 star end-of-trip facilities and free onsite gym), all within a 2 minute walk from the tram stop
**The Experience**:
Ideally you’ll have 3+ years in Account Management function, prior media experience and be well connected in the industry You will also:
- Be a natural hunter with proven success in managing and expanding key accounts
- Be able to influence stakeholders through thought-leadership and a consultative approach
- Understand how to use data, metrics and external market insights to drive and influence decisions.
- An innate storyteller with excellent presentation style and ability to present engaging insights and solutions
- Have exemplary communication, collaboration and critical thinking skills
