Within DCS Fair Trading, Policy & Delivery, the Long Service Corporation (LSC) manages building and construction industry and contract cleaning industry portable long service schemes. We are based in Gosford and currently have a team of around 120 dedicated staff focused on improving our customers’ experience.

**About the role**

We are seeking to recruit a self-motivated and experienced procurement specialist to manage procurement activities for LSC.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Validate business needs, compile, and source market information, and assist in analysing markets and assessing risk to inform procurement planning.
- Provide advice, information and guidance on procurement related matters to stakeholders across the agency to provide governance and support good practice in procurement.
- Implement and contribute to the development of contract management plans, resolve issues, monitor performance and negotiate contract variations through effective supplier relationships to enhance business outcomes.
- Identify, mitigate and escalate procurement risks to enable the organisation to meet its obligations and maximise business opportunities.
- Maintain and update procurement records and generate reports on procurement and contract activity to meet organisational compliance requirements and provide access to procurement information.

**About you**:

- Driven and passionate with a can-do attitude.
- Strong experience focusing on technology procurement, commercial negotiation and end to end sourcing.
- Experience using eTendering with specific focus on publication of tenders, addendums and contract award notices.
- Comprehensive understanding of technologies and ICT trends.
- Comfortable supporting large tender processes.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of NSW Government procurement policies and practice.
