Procurement and Commercial Services Leader position is available to join our clients busy team

**Your new company**
An exciting full-time permanent Procurement and Commercial Services Leader position is available working for a well-known Government employer located in the beautiful area in Central Gippsland. The Procurement and Commercial Services Leader will assist the Accounting Manager to meet the obligations of the procurement compliance framework.

**The main duties and responsibilities associated with this role will include**:

- Manage a procurement framework that is compliant with Financial Management Act obligations and supports the broader organisation
- Supervise the activities of Finance Officer Accounts Payable to conduct the accounts payable activities that are necessary
- Supervise the development of revised governance and operational arrangements for fleet, facilities and land management functions
- Manage the business unit annual budget and accurately enter into corporate finance system.
- Additional duties advised by management

**What you’ll need to succeed**
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement administration.
- Demonstrated experience implementing and delivering contract management frameworks, processes and practices.
- Successful time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in staff training, procurement and contact management.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify improvement opportunities.
- Background in compliance or government procurement
- Experience with accounts and contracts processing
