**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Team Leader/Supervisor to join our brand-new Wingfield facility on a permanent full-time basis. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this hands-on role will be responsible for supervising and leading production activities across our new Plant 2 pipe manufacturing and coating areas. The position will focus on ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations while fostering a positive and engaged workforce culture.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead, supervise, and coordinate daily production activities across pipe manufacturing and coating operations.
- Ensure compliance with all AVK safety policies, procedures, and government regulations, creating a strong culture of workplace safety.
- Effectively lead and motivate a production team, driving performance, accountability, and teamwork.
- Oversee and contribute to the efficient operation of lathes, CNC machines, and other production equipment.
- Support the delivery of production schedules to meet quality standards, customer requirements, and operational KPIs.
- Identify and implement process improvements, waste reduction, and lean manufacturing practices to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and resolve production challenges.
- Ensure production records, reports, and documentation are maintained accurately and on time.

**Skills & Experience**
- Trade qualification as a Fitter and Turner (or equivalent) is essential.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of operating and maintaining lathes, CNC machines, and associated equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to foster a safe, compliant, and high-performance workplace culture.
- Strong organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience with lean manufacturing, 5S, and process improvement practices will be highly regarded.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence, build trust and respect at all levels.
- Adaptable and collaborative, with the ability to inspire and develop others.
- Hands on approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
