What does the job look like?

Linfox partners with leading Resources & Industrial companies providing specialised logistics services across the country. Our Wingfield operation is seeking a customer focused Operations Supervisor to oversee local and interstate transport operations for a highly-valued group of customers.

In this role you will make a real impact by overseeing safety, service and cost performance whilst maintaining a long-term focus on relationships. By taking ownership to identify and deliver continuous improvement opportunities and train & develop drivers and warehousing professionals you will be well positioned to ensure we met our contractual commitments. Key areas:

- Promoting a safety-first culture and ensuring commitment to safety, COR and quality requirements
- P&L oversight with a focus on growing the business organically to achieve targets
- Develop a capable and productive driver and warehouse workforce through frontline engagement
- Effective load building, route planning and fleet utilization to deliver productive outcomes
- Proactive management of customer and subcontractor relationships
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote continuous improvement

- Excellent stakeholder engagement with an ability to build strong relationships across all levels and effectively manage supply contracts
- Ability to confidently lead, drive outcomes and develop diverse high-performance teams
- Understanding of operational drivers, cost control and operational budgeting
- Process driven, analytical and methodical with a passion to drive continuous improvement
