**The Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated WHS & Injury Management Advisor to join their national WHS team on a temporary basis. This role will be based in Canberra and will cover two sites within close proximity in the North
- West Canberra Region. As the WHS & Injury Management Advisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring operational WHS compliance, providing support to general managers, and managing the end-to-end injury management process.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide day-to-day operational WHS support to general managers and staff members.
- Assist in the coordination and facilitation of safety committee meetings to promote a safe work environment and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate controls to mitigate workplace hazards.
- Participate in audits as per the national audit calendar to assess compliance with WHS policies and procedures.
- Oversee the entire injury management process, including return-to-work (RTW) processes, liaison with healthcare providers, and claims management.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop and deliver training programs on WHS and injury prevention.
- Keep up-to-date with industry regulations, legislation, and best practices to ensure compliance and provide guidance to staff.

**About You**
- Relevant qualifications in WHS or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the healthcare industry.
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, regulations, and best practices.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing control measures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a national team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
