**Your Opportunity**
As Procurement Specialist, your focus will be to work with the Head of Procurement to support the execution and implementation of strategic sourcing, category management strategies and procurement processes. Assist in maximizing value for KPMG stakeholders and minimizing supplier risk.
This role provides reporting support and collaborates with other Category Leads to identify and deliver best value solutions. The primary focus for this position will be KPMG's Connected Technology Group (CTG).
The role accountabilities will be responsible for but not limited to;
**Strategic Sourcing**
- Develop supply sources, pre-qualify vendors, and perform due diligence activities including risk identification & mitigation, across a variety of categories primarily across the Technology vendor landscape.
- Lead tender processes and provide appropriate recommendations to Head of Procurement and key stakeholders.
- Perform comprehensive market analysis for targeted categories in support to strategy development (i.e. financial review, market share, SWOT analysis, cost models).
- Develop and produce timely reporting up and across KPMG providing insight and expertise to key stakeholders.
- Construct and perform periodic reviews of suppliers including remediation activities in low performing relationships.
**Contract Management**
- Manage various contracting processes, such as the evaluation of bids and the awarding and termination of contracts
- Enhance current agreements incorporating KPIs and SLAs and efficient mechanisms to measure supplier performance
- Evaluate or monitors contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations
**Negotiation**
- Negotiate with suppliers to execute agreements
- Negotiate and influence internal stakeholders and contract owners on changes requires in suppliers and /or contract terms

- 3 - 4 years’ experience gained in a Procurement role with significant exposure to Contract Negotiation and Management
- Demonstrated experience in establishing commercial models with Technology providers
- A demonstrated ability to work well under pressure with conflicting priorities
- An ability to engage and influence senior level stakeholders
- A high level of verbal and written communication with an ability to fluently communicate internally with all levels within the firm and externally with potential suppliers
**Qualifications**:
- We are looking for applicants that have Tertiary qualification
