Snowy Hydro is a dynamic, integrated energy business that has been providing on-demand, reliable energy to Australia for generations. Snowy Hydro owns and operates a powerful combination of generation assets, including the mighty Snowy Mountains Scheme, gas and diesel plants, and contracted wind and solar energy. We also provide electricity and gas to about 1 million retail customers through our retail brands Red Energy and Lumo Energy.
A fantastic opportunity has become available for a driven and motivated Production Systems Analyst to join our Production team at Snowy Hydro. This dynamic role will provide support through the maintenance and the ongoing evaluation and improvement of Production processes and systems.
This is a pivotal role that can, by mutual agreement, offer flexible working arrangements, as Snowy Hydro appreciates the additional value such arrangements can bring to our business and to our employees.
**Your key responsibilities will include**:
Develop a strong understanding of the Production Systems (including ePermit System and Outage Management System) and their associated processes
Liaise with stakeholders to resolve issues and propose solutions or improvement opportunities
Develop and maintain system training guides, and provide training to the business as required
Monitor, review and analyse compliance and effectiveness of production processes
Promote Snowy Hydro's Values through initiatives and programs relating to in-scope systems and processes
A suitable applicant for the role will possess the following attributes:
Previous exposure to similar Permit and/or Outage systems will be highly regarded
Experience with processes such as work permits, isolation, work method statements, and standard operating procedures
Ability to communicate effectively to diverse audiences
Experience in data handling and analysis with strong problem-solving skills
The ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and work independently to proceed with objectives when required
Customer focus minded with the ability to build strong working relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
Established technical writing skills
Class C Driver's license
