The **Future Generation Joint Venture** brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design construct **Snowy 2.0**. This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.

Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history. It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come. This Iconic Project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history.

**Job Purpose**:The role of the BI developer is to work with the business and the Data Team to build, test and deploy BI and Analytics artefacts to deliver the data and reporting outcomes expected by the business users.

**Main Duties / Responsibilities**:

- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the business objectives of projects and align the reporting solutions accordingly.Understand and promote data quality and consistent data definitions to the business users of the BI/Analytics functions-
- Follow relevant Data team standards, guidelines, and procedures.-
- Liaise with internal and external clients to fully understand data context and business objectives to be delivered.-
- Collaborate with and support other Citizen BI forum members to enable their ongoing skills and knowledge development.-
- Gather, understand, and document detailed requirements and interface contracts using appropriate tools and techniques.-
- Manipulate, analyse and interpret complex data sets relating to business unit requirements.-
- Educate and support business users in contemporary, best-practice visualisations and reporting artefacts to meet their requirements.-
- Prepare dashboards, graphs and visualizations and paginated reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools.

**Qualifications**:Relevant tertiary qualifications with strong analytics and reporting component or equivalent workplace experience is Essential.

Industry certifications in BI and Analytics technologies is desirable.

**Experience**:

- Demonstrable experience in the development of reports and dashboards to a diverse set of stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrable experience in mainstream BI tools (including but not limited to Power BI) for delivering complex visualisations and reports.
- Thorough understanding of using data manipulation languages (DAX/ MDX/ SQL ) in delivering meaningful data aggregations and statistical functions is essential.
- Thorough understanding of Microsoft DAX is advantageous.
- Experience designing collaborative solutions with end users
- Real Life Experience with Snowflake and/or Informatica is advantageous.
- Knowledge or experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) concepts and practices is advantageous.
