**Who are we, and what do we do...**

We are on a big journey at Waddle, pushing the boundaries of lending for small businesses. We started our journey seven years ago, building an industry leading product to enable simple, quick and digital access to lending for small businesses. The product enables the customer to manage their daily cash flow requirements to suit the way they manage their business and works hand and hand with cloud accounting software. Our product was so successful that we now license our platform to tier 1 banks/lenders around the world to deliver simple digital lending to their customers.

We’re not a start-up anymore, but spend some time in our office and you wouldn’t know it. Wear your shorts whenever you want, add your favourite tunes to the office playlist, join in with yoga on a Thursday, even bring in your dog if you like We’ve also fully embraced flexible working and have seen productivity only increase. Whilst you’ll be expected to collaborate in the office a few days each week, we believe working from home is here to stay.

**About the role & what you'll do...
The Head of Product will drive the strategic direction and technical oversight of the Waddle lending platform, ensuring its key enterprise customers receive a world class experience.

You will work closely with Technology, Delivery, Partnerships and Operations, aligning on the vision, strategy, and roadmap to ensure the product team successfully executes at speed against key organisational objectives. You will bring demonstrated experience and success in delivering products in a banking, fintech, accounting or similar environment to this role.

You will be a key member of both Waddle’s and Xero’s Lending leadership teams and act as an educator and evangelist for Financial Services globally across Xero & Waddle.

**What you'll bring with you...**:

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to bring ideas to life and break down complex problems to your audience
- Great relationship building and leadership skills, with previous experience of leading high performing product teams
- You'll come with a strong collaboration mindset, acting as a bridge between product & engineering
- A critical thinker with vison for the future, ideally with a track record of solving customer needs through innovative technology
- Previous experience with launching/scaling FinTech products would be a huge plus
