**Purpose of the Role**

Reporting to the Head of Risk, you'll lead a dedicated, engaged, and capable team to provide ongoing forecasts of key operational metrics as well as support the development and modelling of long-term planning scenarios as we progress to develop business strategy that will define the future pathway for EnergyAustralia.
- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of the Mass Market customer number and per customer usage forecasts
- Understand the marker drivers, run simulations and backtesting to ensure the delivery of high-quality Gas & Electricity Load forecasts
- Own and develop long-term scenarios, long-term business plan submission and the long-term corporate model
- Ensure a culture of continuous improvement to introduce process efficiencies and other enhancements.

To make an impact in this role, you will be an inquisitive, analytical thinker and have a passion for the energy transition. You will love converting data into insights and creating long term scenarios to identify future risks and opportunities.
- Ability to work across an organisation from senior leaders to technical experts while joining the dots on the key issues
- Knowledge across Python, R or equivalent will be highly regarded
- Proven ability to collaborate and build effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Ability to bring out the best in a team of highly capable analysts
- Tertiary qualifications in mathematics, statistics, science, engineering, actuarial studies, or another relevant quantitative degree that demonstrates numeracy and problem-solving ability
