**Description**:
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and passionate Support at Home Manager that will oversee our Queensland Support at Home operations. Reporting to the Health and Wellness Manager, this is a full time role which will provide inspiring leadership and management to the Support at Home team to maximise opportunities for growth, identify and mitigate challenges and proactively encourage staff retention.

The Support at Home Manager will provide support, guidance, feedback, and motivation to the Support at Home team who deliver services that are responsive, timely and empowering whilst providing a safe and supportive environment to clients to facilitate independent living, health, wellness, and happiness.

This role would suit those applicants with a clinical background and/or Allied Health professionals with an understanding of Home Care and its implementation.

**Skills and Experiences**:
**To be successful in this role you will demonstrate**:
Essential
- Education, training and/or experience equivalent to a degree in Aged Care/Community Care/Management/Nursing or Health Services.
- Proven effective strategic leadership and management skills that drive teamwork, high performance, and excellence in service provision.
- Proven experience successfully managing graphically dispersed teams.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of funding models including CHSP, Home Care Packages, Short Term Restorative Care Program & reporting mechanisms, and outcome expectations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of delivery and compliance requirements of the Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Demonstrated high level effective case management and communication skills along with an ability to sensitively manage complex, emotional, or confronting issues.
- Demonstrated ability to display initiative, contribute new ideas and critically evaluate current processes to contribute to continual improvement in customer service delivery.
- Current Satisfactory Police Check
- Current Drivers Licence
- COVID-19 vaccination required; Influenza vaccination encouraged
- Current First aid/CPR
- Right to Work in Australia

Desirable
- AHPRA registration or other professional registrations
