The Complaints and Investigations Officer supports the ARBV’s regulatory activities which includes investigations (proactive and reactive), complaints management, data gathering and analytics, education and guidance to the profession and public, and the communication of key compliance related outcomes and initiatives.

The Architects Registration Board of Victoria (ARBV) is a self-funding statutory authority which has as its primary responsibilities the registration of architects and approval of architectural companies/partnerships, the regulation of the professional conduct of architects (including complaints) and the regulation of prescribed terms linked to the practise of architecture.

Reporting to the Senior Investigator the Complaints and Investigations Officer (Investigations) supports the compliance function in the delivery of the ARBV's regulatory compliance program.

While experience within government or a statutory body is not essential, it will likely be an advantage. The successful applicant may also be called upon to support the delivery of other functions.
