**Procurement Specialist - NSW Government**

A Procurement Specialist is required by a NSW Government department based in Parramatta + WFH (hybrid) on an initial 12-month contract with likely extensions.
- **Location: Parramatta + WFH (hybrid)**:

- **Pay Rate: Up to $650 per day + Super**:

- **Contract Length: 12 months with likely ongoing extensions**

**Primary Purpose of the Role**:
As the Procurement Specialist, you will manage all aspects of the sourcing to contract process & provide sourcing & contract management advice & procurement services across each stage of the procurement life-cycle.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Build & maintain relationships with the business in order to deeply understand procurement requirements
- Provide expert advice to the business on all aspects of procurement & contract management policy, processes, systems & frameworks
- Manage the contract negotiation process & coordinate the preparation of contracts with input from category management
- Support the implementation of category management plans & prioritise work activities in close consultation with category managers

**About You**:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications & demonstrated experience in procurement/category management
- Strong knowledge of sourcing processes, policies, systems & frameworks
- Demonstrated experience with ERP systems, including source-to-contract & procure-to-pay
- Outstanding communication skills, both written & verbal
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with additional high attention to detail
