Job Title

The Senior Advisor will lead strategic procurement initiatives that shape public sector outcomes, be part of a team that values innovation and growth, and work in a flexible environment.



About the Position

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team passionate about delivering quality services and value for money.

This role is within the Contracts and Commercial Performance unit where we drive performance and enhance experiences through innovative solutions.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end procurement processes aligned with NSW Government policy and probity requirements
  • Provide expert advice on sourcing strategies, contract management, and supplier relationship management to support informed decision-making and achieve strategic outcomes
  • Lead contract negotiations and engage with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Implement continuous improvements to sourcing, contract, and supplier relationship management activities for high-volume, high-value procurement
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop procurement documentation, including statements of requirements that meet business objectives

Requirements:
  • Experience in strategic procurement, contract management, and supplier relationship management, with a proven track record of delivering value-for-money outcomes
  • Knowledge of NSW Government procurement policies and their practical application
  • Effective communication skills for building stakeholder relationships
  • Strong time management skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail
  • A results-oriented, self-motivated approach with a commercial mindset and business acumen
