**Data Visualisation Specialist**:
Our client well-established FMCG corporate, with a strong market share in Australia. Their top priority is providing the utmost service to its customers and being the driving force behind everything it does.

**About the role**

In this role you will be using data and visualisations to tell a story to business stakeholders to ensure the value of data is maximised. You will act as a bridge translating business requirements into technical solutions often challenging the business on what the core problem is and suggesting solutions.

**Responsibilities**
- As part of the BI team, your key output will be producing user friendly dashboards. The dashboards will provide clear and concise information, tailored for respective users across the business. Users shall be able to manipulate data with easy to use drop down menus and selections. The reports will be designed in the corporate colors and feel.
- Having retrieved the data using SQL, you will then use DAX to write queries from scratch, drawing from large data sets and entailing conditional calculations.
- Produce the dashboards, in a visually appealing style, and which are easy to use.
- The role shall entail working with users to understand their information and insight needs. And in the interest of creating a BI function that has a ‘reasonable’ number of reports, sometimes it will be a process of negotiating and explaining the capacity of the BI team, and the need not to create an endless number of reports.

**Qualifications**
- To be successful in this role, you will have strong interpersonal skills.
- Technically, you will be proficient in DAX and data visualisation.
- Knowledgeable with the key technologies: SAP, Power BI, SQL and DAX.
- It will not be sufficient to solely be able to write queries. SQL a given.
