**Job Description**:
Our Pact Recycling Locally sources and verifies recycled material which is what consumers and brand owners are demanding. To deliver this at scale, we are investing in world leading sorting, washing and processing technologies to produce the highest quality, locally sourced recycled resins.

**About this opportunity**

Reporting to the Site Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for managing operations of the plastic recycling plant. Whilst this position will be a day shift role, you will have three Shift Leaders reporting to you, operating on a 24/5 roster at the Wacol facility which will result in non-frequent site meetings across all shifts and supporting any breakdowns that occur.

**Your key responsibilities will be to**:

- Ensuring manufacturing activities are maintained to the highest standards, to achieve the most effective outcome in support of customer requirements and the business objectives
- All products are made on time and to specification
- Productivity meets and continues to challenge established standards.
- Build and maintain a continuous improvement mindset within the team, across all areas of responsibility including WHSE and Quality
- Open, direct, and respectful communication is practiced across the site
- Work closely with Maintenance, Quality and WHSE

**Your skills and experience**

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

- Min. 2 years people leadership experience
- Experience in Plastics manufacturing and/or recycling
- Superior communication skills. A personable leader, with the ability to communicate and connect across all levels at Site
- Experienced in driving continuous improvement culture
- Demonstrated ability in leading high performing teams
- Proven people leadership and change management experience with a collaborative and enabling approach

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant trade back ground in fitting, hydraulics and electrical would be advantageous but not essential
