The meat n heat traders - Low n Slow Meat Co. is situated at a new beautiful riverside venue at Rivermakers Morningside, we are the destination for BBQ enthusiasts and foodies who have a passion for all things meat. We produce meat and other goods for many factions in our company including ourselves, wholesale customers and food retail stores over Queensland.

Our team is looking for a **Production Supervisor **to help direct out crew and delivery driver. See job description below:
**Reporting to : Operations Manager**

**Direct Reports: Production Crew and Delivery Driver (up to 8)**

**Support/Key Relationships: Butchers, Food Service Manager**

**Customers: Getta Burger Store Managers & Low n Slow Retail Shop & Small number of Wholesale Customers**

**The Role**

This role will encompass the following areas of responsibility:

- Manage end to end Getta Burger Production schedule including grinding and pressing patties daily, smoking and slicing brisket daily, smoking and pulling pork and making filthy mix requirements.
- Manage a team of up to 6 people daily to deliver on key production outcomes.
- Write and drive a daily production plan to ensure productivity and delivery of key outcomes.
- Understand all functions of facility operations and make plans and recommendations for improvements.
- Produce weekly requirements for Low n Slow Meat Co butchers shop, including nugget production, patties, retail smoked meats and BBQ sauce
- Ensure Safe Food standards are met at all times
- Ensure stock rotation and cool-room standards and cleanliness. Monitor, record and work to minimise wastage across all stations.
- Assist with ordering stock requirements attached to function such as bulk meat requirements.
- Identify any gaps in team and recruit accordingly
- Produce product as required for a small number of wholesale customers
- Assist with the standards and organisation of dry store environment.
- Pick and Pack deliveries to a standard of accuracy on a daily basis

- Lead by example, and set direction for others
- Cross train and upskill team members to insulate “key person” risk
- Experience in a food processing or manufacturing environment is required
- Ability to recruit and retain a team of key individuals
- Attention to detail
- Commitment to doing things the right way (no shortcuts)

This role is a hands on role leading a production team to achieve daily outcomes. You will be expected to set the pace for the day along with the standards for food quality and overall cleanliness.

The role is a Monday to Friday roster 5am to 2pm daily.

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
