The VCAA is a statutory body responsible to the Victorian Minister for Education, serving both government and non-government schools. We provide high quality curriculum, assessment and reporting for all Victorian students birth to 18 years.

An exciting opportunity exists to join the Corporate Services Division in Information Technology Unit for an ongoing full-time position.
- _Salary: $76,817- $93,275 (Plus Superannuation 11.5%)_
- _Ongoing full time_
- _Usual work location: East Melbourne and Coburg (flexible work conditions maybe available)_

**Role purpose**

The purpose of the Technical Support Officer role is to provide first level technical infrastructure support, assist staff in the area of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and resolve technical problems reported through the incident management system.

The role is also expected to:

- Assist with ICT asset registration and tracking
- Install and commission new desktop hardware, printers, peripherals including desktop and mobile telephony
- Provide technical support for end user technology, including desktop, laptop, mobile phones, remote access, print/scan/copy, audio video teleconferencing and standard software
- Maintain user network access
- Produce documentation for technical and user guides
- Onsite and remote support for the East Melbourne and Coburg offices, hybrid work is available.

**Experience and qualifications**

Desirable: Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology
