Accounts Receivable/credit Controller

ADG Engineers is looking for an Accounts Receivable/Credit Controller to join our Finance team in Brisbane on a full-time basis. **About the role**
Reporting to the Contracts and Project Compliance Manager, you will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer, Practice Managers, Project Directors and other members of the Finance and Administration teams. You will also collaborate with the Business Support Manager and Project Coordinators on overall project performance pertaining to invoicing, credit control and debtor recovery.
**_ Some of your key accountabilities will include:_**
- Monthly Invoicing: Assisting with mid-month invoicing process and issuing of debtor invoicing, assist in EOM processing and issuing of monthly debtor invoicing and debtor statements, co-ordinate with project managers and engineers to ensure accuracy in invoicing, preparation of appropriate supporting documentation including timesheet breakdowns, statutory declaration, insurance certificates etc., reconciliation of client accounts.
- Debt Collection: Regular follow-up of accounts receivable to ensure invoices have been received by clients and are approved for payment, collection of doubtful and difficult debts in conjunction with the Finance Team and Commercial Managers, report to Contracts Manager/Credit Controller on progress of collections, identification of doubtful debts and disputes, assist with the allocation of payments as required, including resolving unallocated EFT receipts, assist with Deed of Release Documents.
**_ Position Requirements:_**
- Demonstrated experience in a busy office environment
- Certificate IV in Business Administration is desirable
- Certificate in accounts administration, contracts administration, finance or similar qualification preferred but not mandatory
- Proven ability to work with Senior Management and internal and external customers
