**The Opportunity**
An opportunity has come up for a proactive Purchasing Stores Coordinator to manage our main store in Carole Park and ensure the purchase goods and services are available on time as per request from departments.
As a motivated and experienced leader, you will have the opportunity to ensure supply continuity remains a KEY FOCUS across the team.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage the store to meet EH&S, HR and Company policies and housekeeping targets at all times
- Purchasing of goods and services for the Carole Park site in accordance with our policies and existing contractual agreements
- Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing issues and stock availability as required
- Maintain SAP purchasing data and vendor management records
- All receipt and issuance of goods and services to and from the store is completed in a timely and accurate manner
- Responsible for inventory control systems of the store, including the cycle count and Stocktake program and conducting RCA analysis on gaps identified
- Embrace the Continuous Improvement approach to stores management to ensure stock variances are minimised
**About You**:
- Excellent knowledge of the SAP purchasing system
- Understanding of manufacturing production processes
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience managing a stores/purchasing team in a high paced manufacturing environment
- Proven leadership success
- Previous experience in negotiating price point with vendors
- Highly skilled in written and verbal communication
