National Relationship Manager - Commercial Division | Location - Sydney preferred

The Commercial division is Allianz Australia's largest distribution channel whose customers include Commercial, Corporate and international buyer groups throughout Australia. We currently have an opening for a National Relationship Manager to lead and manage the strategic business relationship between Allianz one or more of its key broker partners.
**What you should expect**:
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of your broker partner including structure, people, culture and strategy that guides Allianz account strategy, engagement and opportunity development.
- Maintain strong individual relationships with your client's senior executives and leaders to deliver insights and facilitate constructive account dialogue.
- Manage the implementation and renewal of contractual agreements with clients to ensure the services, data and deliverables are provided to/by Allianz accordingly.
- Lead and coordinate joint executive engagement to report on activity and results, drive strategic discussion and resolve points of friction.
- Develop, maintain and execute National Key Account Plans that include the account structure, relationships, strategy, threats and key strategic objectives.
- Identify and develop strategic opportunities for growth and leverage One Allianz capabilities that increase the breadth of relationship with clients.
- Manage internal and external collaboration and communication on the administration and development of Key Partner Platforms, Products, and Agreements.
**Important to your success**:
- Significant experience in the general insurance industry, its principles, segments, distribution and key drivers combined with a good knowledge of industry trends.
- Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate effectively with internal and external senior/ executive stakeholders to establish strong professional relationships and influence positive outcomes.
- Demonstrates good understanding of strategy development and can work with multiple teams to align strategy with organisational vision to achieve desired results.
- Demonstrates commercial acumen by using insights related to the market, opportunities, risks and competitors.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, pursue and close business development opportunities that contribute to sustainable growth and profitability.
- Manage complex negotiations to ensure acceptable commercial and financial conditions are met.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact and influence.
