**About the position**

The Learning Technology Administrator position is responsible for assisting with the administrative requirements relating to learning technology services for Austin Health, specifically regarding enquiries, set up and maintenance of user accounts, courses, certifications and programs in the Austin Learning Management System (LMS). The role provides support to ensure a focus on delivering excellent service for users and stakeholders in the LMS system and the effective use of new and emerging technologies to enhance learning.

**Key responsibilities**
- Provide system ownership to the LMS and ensure risks and issues are managed effectively
- Ensure stakeholders and users are supported
- Develop and test learning content
- Quality assurance and auditing
- Deliver within agreed timeframes course maintenance/support, reporting functionality development and support, learning technology support, and course development
- Support the development of courses using instructional design methodologies
- Including ATLAS, video creation, elearning creation and video streaming
- Ensure learning technology resources exist, are best practice and are accessible for users, managers, teachers, and designers

**Selection Criteria**
- Experience administering a LMS/IT system within a large complex environment (Experience with Totara or Moodle LMS strongly preferred)
- A demonstrated curiosity and aptitude for attention to detail, innovative thinking and trouble shooting
- Highly developed communication, organisational and interpersonal skills including the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team to facilitate best practice
- Ability to think innovatively in regards to emerging technologies that can be leveraged for teaching and learning within a health context
- Be self-motivated with clear self-direction and ability to manage a service autonomously
- Ability to write user documentation and ability to organise and conduct system performance testing
- A desire to be of service and to focus on end user needs
