**The Employee Relations Business Partner is responsible for partnering with the business to lead employee relation activities.**

Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the **Employee Relations Business Partner **is responsible for partnering with the business to lead employee relation activities with the support of a human resources team and an external Industrial Relation Manager. You will be responsible for providing advice and mentoring across a broad range of areas including but not limited to generalist human resource/industrial relations, performance management and conduct, enterprise agreement negotiations, liaising with trade unions whilst also providing support to the members of the human resource team, senior leaders and stakeholders.
Being an experienced employee relations specialist with strong knowledge of contemporary human resources and industrial relations practices, you will have a proven track record providing advice and guidance whilst building collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. With relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Employee Relations or a related discipline, you will demonstrate strong communication skills with the ability to offer solutions to complex industrial relation challenges. A naturally proactive person, you will have strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to clearly articulate best practice and contemporary HR principles.
