Join us as a **Cadet** in our Port Services team where you will undertake a 24 month paid work, study and training program. You’ll start out in a hands-on entry level role, spending most days working alongside the Port Operations team who ensure that the operations of our International Cruise Terminal and all of our common user berths runs smoothly. You could be ensuring that'¯our'¯cruise customers get safely onboard their cruise ship and on another day be ensuring that ships leave or berth safely. You’ll also be cross trained into our Multi Modal (BMT) team who receive, unload, load, and see the departure of goods trains to and from the port.'¯

**Flexible, enjoys working as part of a small team and keen to learn — Here’s who we’re looking for**:

- You’ll be reliable, enjoy working across the port precinct plus our Brisbane International Cruise Terminal.
- You are keen to learn on the job and undertake paid study which could align to a business requirement or an area of interest including Training & Assessment, Workplace Health and Safety Officer, Logistics or Business.
- You’re a natural team player with have great communication skills.
- You have a health and safety mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- You hold a current drivers licence.
- The first year of this program would be Monday to Friday however the second year you would move onto a rotating roster including weekend work. We are open to flexible work arrangements but there will still be a requirement to work a roster in the second year including weekend work.
