Career-development opportunity for an entry level Drafting Cadet to join our busy Drafting team, located at our stunning Robina Head Office.

Reporting to the Drafting Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating external drafting and engineering resources
  • Producing design drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Assisting in the creation of drawings and incorporate design amendments
  • Assisting other drafters with administrative tasks
  • Ensure all drawings are completed with 100% accuracy
  • Complete drawings to Metricon's standards and drafting procedures
  • Adhere to demanding timelines; and
  • Provide innovative design solutions.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Unequivocal attention to detail
  • Experience using AutoCAD and Revit is essential
  • Completed a tertiary qualification in Building Design and Drafting, or an Architectural Degree
  • The ability to work under pressure within a fast paced team environment; and
  • Work experience within the residential building industry would be an advantage but not essential.
