Are you a leader in asset engineering looking to add value to our community? Does delivery of improved customer outcomes and affordability through optimised asset management of headworks and treatment assets drive you to succeed? If so read on

**As Tactical Asset Management Lead you will be responsible for leading the development and enhancement of asset management strategies across multiple assets types, playing a key role in managing and optimising the lifecycle of infrastructure assets across Barwon Water.

This is a key leadership role where you will utilise expertise in engineering principles with stakeholder skills to engage effectively and build a culture of asset management continuous improvement. You will adopt best practice methodologies in asset management, people leadership, data asset stewardship, asset renewal capital delivery program management and providing timely reporting to senior leaders.

Creating impact across the business, you will build maturity of the program, achieve improvements through cross-functional teams, utilise asset risk and investment optimisation frameworks, and ensure an appropriate level of focus on risk reporting and data quality. You will also be responsible for managing Barwon Water’s dam safety portfolio.

**About You**

You will be a forward-thinking leader with a proven ability to think strategically and drive innovation within the management of key treatment plant, dams and headworks assets. Your technical expertise and leadership skills will allow you to shape and implement impactful solutions that address complex infrastructure lifecycle management challenges and opportunities.

You will thrive in environments where critical thinking, long-term planning, and adaptability are key to success. Comfortable with data, compliance and risk, your ability to communicate technical information will be highly regarded, as you bring influence across Barwon Water and lead cross-functional teams to support best for business outcomes.

Your qualifications in engineering will be put to the test but you will work in a close knit and multi-disciplined team, who will be inspired by your leadership and work collaboratively to identify improvements that bring value to our customers.
