- The Role**: As a Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing their non-core product line. This hybrid role involves a combination of home office work, site visits, and occasional trips to their manufacturing facility in Geelong. You will be the technical expert, developing product offerings, pricing strategies, and value propositions. Additionally, you will support the sales team to drive growth and deliver exceptional results.

- Responsibilities**:

- Understand customer needs and exceed their expectations by delivering tailored solutions.
- Develop compelling value propositions, effective messaging, and product positioning strategies.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats.
- Stay connected with customers, gather market intelligence, and maintain strong relationships.
- Analyze competitor products and offerings, positioning their products effectively.
- Collaborate with the Market Manager to develop pricing, segmentation, and channel strategies.
- Create impactful marketing materials, support sales efforts, and conduct training programs.

- Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or science.
- Experience working with antiscalants, anti-foam and dispersants ideal.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industrial experience in technical sales, marketing or process engineering.
- Ability to build new business
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for building relationships.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- Solid commercial acumen, leveraging data to inform product strategy.
- Technical acumen to understand customer processes and collaborate with technical personnel.
- Effective time management and prioritization abilities.
