We are looking for an energetic business/commercial finance broker who is passionate in helping businesses obtain the finance they need to achieve their goals to join our team with long term options to grow our commercial arm from the existing customer base.

This positions core business is driven by Business and Commercial Finance from a nationwide network, experience in secured, unsecured business lending is essential. Working with our team for internal referrals, leveraging existing customers and external referrers, you will use your motivation, drive and relationship skills to process and manage an existing and growing portfolio as well as developing new referral sources.

**You may currently fall into one of the following two categories**:
(A) You’re a current banker - You are currently working as a business banker or mobile lender but you are seeking new challenge - you are very keen to get out of the ever increasing demands of the corporate banking world and into something fresh with less of the unnecessary tedious reporting and with more customer focus; with family values, flexibility and a happy team environment.

Or

(B) You’re a current broker - with ample lending experience in business/commercial finance broking. You are currently working as a contract mortgage broker or finance broker but are looking to move back into an employed lending role within a stable team based business.

**What you offer is**:

- 3+ years business lending experience or >5 years business lending experience within a bank
- Certificate IV in Finance/Mortgage Broking (preferred)
- Tertiary qualification in a related field (preferred)
- Strong business lending background & leasing experience (preferred)
- A good team player with a long term perspective
- Excellent sales skills
- Excellent credit knowledge
- Strong analytical and numerical skills and attention to detail
- A passion for finance and financial problem solving
- Ability to identify cross-sell opportunities
- A proactive and preemptive approach to processing loan submissions
- A strong appreciation for client service, client empathy, client integrity and authentic client relationships with an ability and desire to develop long standing client relationships
