C-Suite Partners is thrilled to once again be partnering with St John of God Health Care for the significant appointment of their next Group Chief Executive Officer. This appointment will see the successful applicant working with the Board to set the organisation’s strategic direction.

St John of God Health Care (SJGHC) is one of the largest Catholic providers of health care services in Australia. The organisation employs more than 16,000 staff and operates facilities across Australia and New Zealand comprising more than 3,300 hospital beds, as well as home nursing disability services and social outreach programs.

The Group Chief Executive Officer will be accountable for working with the Board to set the organisation’s strategic direction and for the successful and sustainable execution of strategic plans. This role will see you provide visionary, transformational and accountable leadership within the organisation and maintain strong links with key stakeholders including external agencies and industry bodies, relevant Church authorities, and the patients and communities St John of God Health Care serves.

**Key Requirements**:

- Demonstrated experience in leading major change in a health care environment
- Proven experience in leading and shaping organisational culture
- Exemplary people skills, with the ability to collaborate and create strong, mutually-beneficial relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Proven strategic planning, execution, change management and risk management skills
- Significant senior executive experience in large, complex hospitals
- Strong financial acumen
