**About the role**

Work with the Impact and Engagement team, guided by the Growth Strategy, to deliver revenue growth You will be providing high-quality tender and grant submissions, and supporting the business with the development of strategic partnerships.

**Duties**
- Support the development of bids, proposals and tender responses in line with the Bid Development Procedure and Governance Framework
- Coordinate an opportunity pipeline of tenders and grants, making recommendations to the Business Development and Partnerships Manager on appropriate opportunities.
- Support development of bid strategies that are responsive to funder requirements, market conditions, and organisational strategy and capabilities, with the support of the Business Development and Partnerships Manager
- Source relevant materials to support bid development; coordinate information gathering across all relevant corporate and operational portfolios. Where indicated, coordinate information gathering from partner organisations.
- Work in collaboration with Business Development & Partnerships Manager and operational leads to develop strategic partnerships, including building and assessing a pipeline of partners, to support the Growth Strategy. Support consistent and high quality partnership activities across the business in line with the Partnership Policy and support the implementation of the Partnership Framework and the monitoring and evaluation of partnership activity across the organisation.
- Work collaboratively with operations team members and identified finance and commercial leads to develop responsive service models, support the development of financial modelling, support identification of financial and commercial risks.
- Provide feedback to colleagues on their bid responses, and support on how to improve the response, and the type of information and data that is required to aid success.
- Ensure robust quality control of all submissions and maintain records of tender submission, win and loss rate and feedback from tendering organisations.
- Develop a deep understanding of The Benevolent Society’s services, operating environment, stakeholders and partners by proactively engaging with stakeholders both inside and outside TBS to inform bid opportunities and submissions.

**Skills and Experience**
- 3+ years’ experience in writing of tenders, grants or equivalent experience in professional writing
- Understanding of the community services sector and funding arrangements
- Experience in the development of strategic partnerships supporting business outcomes and growth opportunities.
- Excellent Influencing and collaboration skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations, while meeting key deadlines
