Waste Administrator | 3-4 Month Temporary Role | Local Government | South-Western Sydney

This local government department is looking for a Waste Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis. This council is based in South-Western Sydney and is active in managing the area for the community.

**Your new role**

Reporting to the Contracts and Customer Service Coordinator, the duties of this role include:

- Handling administration and entering data/information into the system
- Fielding customer queries in relation to the Council’s Waste and acting appropriately
- Conducting inspections, investigating and resolving issues with waste collection, vacant land charges and council clean-ups
- Working with the team to ensure correct policies and procedures are met

**What you'll need to succeed**

In order to be successful in this role, you will need:

- A current Driver's Licence
- Previous administration and/or customer service experience
- Experience within the waste industry and/or local government is highly advantageous.
- Flexible, hard-working attitude to work both independently and within the team
