Our client, a well established and family owned manufacturing company in the south east suburbs of Melbourne, is looking for an experienced Payroll and Accounts Officer for this full-time, temporary assignment. This position is responsible for the timely and accurate preparation and processing of payroll for all staff plus end to end accounts receivable processing.

Key responsibilities:

- Provide accurate and timely payroll services
- Generation of client invoicing
- End to end Accounts Receivable
- Associated finance functions of the business

You will ideally have:

- Strong understanding of legislation, taxation and superannuation as they relate to payroll processing activities
- Sound understanding and knowledge of payroll systems, best practices and procedures
- Track record of successful delivery of timely and accurate Payroll services
- Possess experience and knowledge of EBAs and Awards
- Experience in maintaining and improving debtor days
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers
- Problem solving skills with high attention to detail
- Exposure to working with ERP platforms
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills
- An exceptional degree of professionalism and discretion
- Advanced computer skills
- Sound time management skills
