Eden Ritchie Recruitment are seeking a skilled Project Support Officer to provide high-level project administration support within a busy government project team. This role will contribute to the delivery of significant infrastructure projects by ensuring efficient administration, accurate reporting, and adherence to departmental processes and standards.

  • Rate: Circa $58.00 per hour + super
  • Location: Buderim, QLD
  • Contract Length: 3 years + Extension

Key responsibilities include:

  • Researching and preparing briefing notes, submissions, and project documentation.
  • Coordinating and supporting project activities including workshops, industry briefings, and meetings.
  • Monitoring and reporting on budgets, schedules, and resource usage.
  • Managing project correspondence, documentation, and registers to identify issues and risks.
  • Providing administrative support to the Project Manager and team, including minute taking, preparing reports, and maintaining project registers.
  • Supporting procurement, finance, and HR functions as required.
  • Promoting best practice project management support and continuous improvement.

About you:

  • Demonstrated experience in providing project or high-level administrative support within government or large organisations.
  • Strong analytical, research, and reporting skills with the ability to work with project data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise across teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Experience in infrastructure project environments or with the Department of Transport and Main Roads will be highly regarded.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, management, or public administration are desirable.
